Happy Thanksgiving one and all!

My friend Erika came to visit this weekend. It was so fun to see a familiar face and get to introduce her to my new West coast life. E-train was one of my first friends in O-town--Adrian decided we should be friends, and so we were. E would sometimes stay with me on the weekends cuz she lived far away and always had to come back to L.M. for stuff, so it was just like old times--a grown-up sleepover if you will. :) We walked on my beach, ate at Yardhouse with Geoff and got our digits done. I <3 $25 mani/pedis with Janet Jackson blaring on the flat screen. ahh yeah, it doesn't get any better than that. :)

Grace is ...

going to the doctor and to Wal-Mart in the same day and still retaining your sanity. This, my friends, is nothing short of a miracle.

After weeks of silently dreading my forthcoming birthday, I actually had a really great day. My friends at work greeted me with birthday wishes, and we had Cheesecake Factory dessert in the afternoon. They even sang birthday wishes while I bopped along. Geoff sent me 3 dozen (!) roses to work--so many in fact that I had enough to have a bundle at work and a bouquet at home to enjoy. He took me to dinner at the place where we had our first-or-second date (depending which one of us you ask) and got me the most magnanimous pink corduroy laptop bag EVER. It's stunning, so BACK OFF ladies and uh guys ... it's mine. ;-) I talked to friends/family, got MySpace attention and eCards... I'm so thankful that God has blessed me with such great people that surround me from So Cal to Central Florida. I will look back on this birthday with fond memories... it's my last one afterall. :)
